About our school

We are a School for Specific Purposes (SSP), classified as Intensive Learning Support Mental Health (ILSMH). Our school provides a structured and inclusive learning environment where every student is recognised and supported to achieve their full potential.

We work with families, carers and support staff to make a learning and wellbeing plan for each student. This means all students can learn in a way that suits them best.

Alongside our curriculum, students take part in programs that build skills in:

Our classrooms are set up to meet each student’s needs. We strive to ensure our students feel safe, respected and ready to learn in a way that suits them. Our staff are caring and are skilled to help students feel confident, connected and proud of who they are.

All students seeking placement at Bridge Road School must first have an access request submitted to the local Learning and Wellbeing Team by their mainstream school for consideration at placement panel.  The ILSMH placement panel meets once a term. Families and schools can contact us if they think our school might be right for their child. To learn more, visit our enrolment enquiries page.

Iron Cove Network

Statement of Purpose

Iron Cove Public Schools commit to working as one united network. We value the strength found in collaboration above individual action, knowing our greatest impact arises when we share responsibility, learn together, and support one another.

Our logo has been designed to capture the converging lines of the Iron Cove and Anzac bridges, combined with the flow of the Parramatta River, symbolising our schools coming together at a single point under one shared vision. It reflects our belief that, like these connecting structures and waterways, our schools are stronger, more resilient, and more impactful when aligned and moving in the same direction.

This statement is our shared compass and a public declaration of our belief that the true strength of public education lies in leadership that is collective, enduring, and deeply attuned to both context and community.
