Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

I’m excited to welcome you to our school, a small, supportive environment with a strong focus on wellbeing.

Every student at our school is unique, with a wide range of diagnoses and presenting behaviour, and they are supported accordingly via a personalised approach.  The school is guided by the principles of trauma-informed practice, and of the philosophies of contemporary educators in special education such as Dr Bruce Perry and the Neurosequential Model in Education, and child psychologists such as Dr. Ross Greene. Staff seek to find out what is driving certain behaviours, and lead from the basic premise that if 'students could do well at school, they would do well'.
