This term as part of our IT Program students were introduced to Scratch - a programming language for children. Developed at the MIT Media Lab, Scratch helps students gain design and problem-solving skills, learn to think creatively and to reason systematically. Every student built their own simple computer game 'from scratch' this term, based on an underwater maze. Their games can be played on the Bridge Road School Mazes gallery hosted on the Scratch website. Flash player is required, and some ad blockers may interfere with the game running correctly. Scratch software is free to download.
