This week Brisbane Roar and Socceroo player Jade North came to Bridge Road to share some of his experiences playing soccer at an elite level and also to run some drills and games with our students. Jade North has won 4 A-League premierships and represented Australia at 2 Olympic Games in an international career spanning 44 appearances. He is also the first Indigenous Australian to captain the Australian soccer team.
Jade spoke to the students about his favourite players he has played with (Tim Cahill) and also about all of the different countries he has played in. Jade then showed off his skills with a ball while running some dribbling, passing and shooting drills. He finished off by having a small game of soccer which was enjoyed by all.
